[color=green][b]说明:[/b]这两张用美国太空总署的哈伯太空望远镜所拍摄之影像,时间间隔是11小时,呈现火星几乎相反的两面。 [/align][align=left]拍摄这些照片时,正好是火星在六万多年来最接近地球的时候。
左边的照片是从中原时间7月27日早晨6:20到7:12所拍的一系列影像叠加出来的,当时火星和地球的距离有55757930公里。 [/align][align=left]影像可清楚看见下方白色的南极冠、沙鱼鳍状的暗色大西提平原、及影像右下角的淡色圆形希拉斯盆地。[/align][align=left]右边的影像是在火星最接近地球时拍摄的,当时它的距离为55757930公里,比拍摄左边照片时移近了1400公里。 [/align][align=left]这张照片是从中原时间7月27日晚上5:35到6:20所拍的一系列影像叠加出来的。 [/align][align=left]影像中上方的椭圆形奥林帕斯山清晰可辨,它是我们太阳系最大的火山。 [/align][align=left]在中右方的巨大暗斑是太阳湖(Solis Lacus),它也常被称为是火星之眼。
这两张影像呈现了大部份的南极冠。 [/align][align=left]拍照时,正好是南半球夏季的季中,阳光不停地照射南极冰冠,使它缩得较小。 [/align][align=left]极冠上的橘红斑纹是沉降在冰冠上的火星沙尘。[/color] ::42:: ::42:: ::42::
